My instrument is being repaired, can I rent/loan an instrument?

If you are renting an instrument with us, and there are repairs we need to do, we will give you a loaner instrument for the duration of the repair. When you pick up your repaired instrument, you must return your loaner instrument at the time of pick-up.

If you are having your own instrument repaired by us and you need an instrument while your instrument is being repaired, we offer a short-term rental for the duration of the repair. The short term rental cost is $21.65 (includes tax). When the instrument is repaired, you will be notified by us that the instrument is ready for pickup. You have one week to pickup the instrument. If you have not picked up your instrument or communicated with us within a week of being notified, we will charge you a weekly rent rate of $21.65 (includes tax).

How do I return my rental instrument, or end my rental contract?

Just bring the instrument back to any of our stores, no paperwork necessary. Your payments stops the day the instrument is in our hands, this will also be the end of your rental contract. When is my first rental payment due?

For beginners, this is typically 30 days after the instrument is in the students hands. So if the instrument is delivered to the school with the beginning of school, we have set the date of September 25th. If you pick up the instrument prior to school starting, its 30 days after you pick it up. If you pick it up after school starts, the 1st payment is due that day. (Notice, you get more latitude by ordering early!)

Do I pay for my supplies monthly?

No, your supplies (Accessories) are a 1-time purchase, and are yours to keep. All payments are refundable up until the time the accessory packages are opened.

I ordered my accessories early, when do I pay and when will I receive?

We deliver these to your school as directed by the band director prior to the start of school. We deliver accessories in a clear sealed bag with the invoice, so directors or parents can double check the items delivered prior to unsealing the package. Payments are in advance but refundable if you change your mind.

What do I do if their is a discrepancy in my accessory order?

Sometimes products are back ordered when our vendors run out. We try to note that on your invoice. If it is not noted or if the status is unclear, please email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or call 972-516-1331.

Please note that you might be receiving 2 separate orders. If we received the "back ordered" merchandise before our delivery to the school we will create a second accessory packet to complete your order, so you have all your accessories when school starts.

Can I pick up my rental instrument early?

If you did not indicate "Early Pickup" when you reserved your instrument, you may call the Plano store (972-516-1331) or email the Plano store (This email address is being protected from spambots. What were the terms of my rental agreement?

Attached we have a downloadable copy of the terms to your agreement.  This agreement has been reviewed by the State of Texas to meet all regulatory standards for consumer protection.

Can I access my account?
We are upgrading out system and adding many features for our customers. In the fall everyone can log on and check their account status.
Can I exchange my beginner instrument?
Beginners who are on a maintenance plan can readily exchange for a similar instrument.
Can I trade up my instrument?
When the time is right, our customers can exchange some or all of their equity in the instrument for a higher level instrument. We guaranty 15 months, but that may be more depending on the condition of the instrument and other factors. We carry all major brands, so this offer is available on anything we carry (some competitors limit this to "house brands" or leave this clause out of your agreement..) We also use internet matched prices, not artificially inflated prices that can totally eliminate your equity.
What if I have problems making payments?
This happens every year for a number of reasons. Please contact us quickly and we will work with you on a solution. If your student enjoys band or orchestra, our goal is to keep them involved. We are your vendor by the choice of your director because we help their students! If you do not contact us, we will need to have the instrument returned. If we lose contact with you, we have no other choice but to turn over to collections, which is expensive for you and for us!
