Dean Raskin holds a B.M. degree from The Juilliard School and has been teaching private lessons for 19 years. He has been a private teacher for public school districts such as the IISD, CFISD, and the LISD in Dallas.  He has taught private lessons at Baylor University, the University of Dallas, and The Juilliard School where he was also a teaching assistant in the Advanced Department of Music Theory. He teaches classical, jazz, fiddle, and improvisation. Students of Mr. Raskin have achieved top spots in the Texas Music Educators Association's (T.M.E.A.) District, Regional, and All-State competitions as well as local independent competitions.
